Willow Way (in Danish: “Pilely”) is living, growing sculptures made from willow being continuously shaped and woven into three-dimensional forms in The Patchwork Forest.

The works consist of an entrance-portal which will grow into a woven tunnel, leading people into the lot, as well as a large hut-like formation that over time will grow into a sheltered area.

Two contrasting colours of willow have been used to achieve a colour-and-weave effect traditionally developed for the weaving of textiles on a loom, but has here been adapted to this new format.
