Textile Graffiti is a co-created mural made with the local school in Ansager, Denmark. It was created as a part of the artist-led project “Kunstneren Tæt På” where artists visit rural towns to create art with and about the people that live there.
Textile Graffiti is a development of the previous project Lace Graffiti made in 2020 during the pandemic, but this time adapted to a co-creation format. We created the pattern by draping scarfs donated by people from Ansager and using them as stencils.
