Beads & Beats (Perler & Plader) workshop for the literature festival “Fortællinger Ved Vandkanten” for children and young adults in Stubbekøbing on the Danish island of Falster.
Beads & Beats (in Danish “Perler & Plader”) is a workshop centered around co-crafting and music. The concept is simple: We make bead designs together using the famous Hama beads, while listening to music. It’s for many a very nostalgic craft and it’s quickly mastered by children and adults alike. Whether you prefer making an already made design or you’re the type who is ready to conjure up a three dimensional masterpiece, this craft is for anyone who likes to use their hands.
This time we made a special version of the concept by bringing alphabet beading plates, so people could spell out their names or little poetic phrases to their liking.
