Five sets of “Bye bye plastic” workshops and installation art pieces created with pupils on five different schools on the Faroe Islands. I taught the children about why we should say goodbye to plastic by cutting down on the amount of plastic we use in our every day lives, giving them sustainable alternative solutions. In the weeks leading up to the projects, they had all been invited to collect plastic bags for us to make our artworks from. I taught them about the textile technique macráme, which we used to create the installation artworks on their schoolgrounds.
